The next generation #MSI GAMING motherboards with dragon power are coming soon. They come with brand new names; GAMING 3, GAMING 5, GAMING 7 and maybe even something more.... What is your choice?

I'll have a number 7 with a side helping of 3

Seriously though I might buy the 5, I need a new motherboard seen as my 16x PCI-E slot has stopped working a while ago, I need to upgrade my CPU if I do though :\

Not buying a new board till Haswell E comes out but I will be keeping an eye out for the MSI contributions.

For some reason i can see some people going like this "you need a gaming 7 mobo to run a i7 and so on" which is utterly useless but there are those out there...

Not in the market anyway but i will be interested to see how they do, and more the point, how they look.

I've had 4 MSI boards in a row, and have all performed great, nice and solid. Plus I'm a sucker for black and yellow, I was thinking about the itx gaming for my next build but changing the red to yellow. I might wait and see what comes next.

These boards look very nice.

I love that the otherwise cool msata onboard port has been switched with an m.2 port. Now we can get ssd's with over 1GByteps speeds (with pci controller, not sata controller).

On MSI's site it says 10gbps on the m.2 port. Does that mean it's only 1 lane pcie 3.0?

Imagine these boards with this black m.2 ssd with pcie controller directly on the motherboard:

The only thing I'd change on these new boards, are the super cheesy "Audio Boost" pink light up plastic box. It really looks bad.

Asus' version is vastly superior in design and looks in my mind. Please make something similar MSI; it would make your mobos so much nicer
