After my Destiny build that you can find here :
http://forum.overclock3d.net/showthread.php?t=58374

it was time for the next step, going to build a rig from scratch :)
I'm using 3 mm thick aluminium plates for my side panels.

Here are some pictures of how it started with idea's and many drawings to the first wooden scale model and finally the side panels in metal.

work continued this weekend :)

worked on 2 PSU brackets to hold the PSU between the 2 side panels
and worked on the radiator and where to place it. Tomorrow they both are fitted on the side panels. For now here are some pictures of the build.

first heatsink is done :)

Just finished putting the mobo back together and installed the EK supremacy block on the i7 , job well done if I may say so myself :)

God this looks great!! subbed man, want to see more of this! Maybe a quick question, why didn't you point the EK block too, like the circles in blue? :)

Thanks man ! :) And tbh I haven't thought about that yet , I might look into that !

Tomorrow I work on the frame for the case then I'll upload some more pics of the build

Could look really nice with some sleeved cables in white and blue :) and maybe mayhems pastel blue for cooling liquid

That motherboard looks beautiful, the paint is the perfect colour and would love to see blue accents on the block like Mathias suggested.

Subbed.

Today worked on 1 of the panels, made the 12 cm holes for the 2 fans that go on the radiator. Next weekend allot more work will be done, also the PSu will be placed then :) for now here some pics of today , cheers

on a short note, the fans on the images are not fitted yet, thats why doesnt look as it should be :P

Today I started on creating the bolts to hold the 2 panels together
instead of using a long screw and bolt them together I came up with this ;)

then it was time to make the 2 panels become 1 and put the PSU and Radiator between them. And the last image with my custom motherboard is a picture of things to come ;)

I'm going with dark colors like, matt black / gloss black, and dark gray. And then with light blue details , also black / light blue sleeving for PSU :)
