Yes, the wait for Mac users is finally over and it's now available in 15 and 17-inch models. Apple is getting better by the minute. Feel free to comment on the article below...

Now that is 1337, I think I'm gonna throw my MBP up on eBay right now and snag one of these bad mofos! I love how they've added an extra SODIMM slot and used SATA hd's, 200gb is awesome (too bad its a slow one, but still 200gb lappy drive pwns!). And 2gb of RAM from the factory, w00t w00t.

LOL I knew you'd be happy seeing this. It certainly sounds like a justifiable reason to upgrade to me

Apple has always been quick to come out with new models very frequently, but it seems that they only have a product out for 4-5 months without upgrading it in some way that cannot be added to the previous one. Normally, it's usually just things like an extra 100-200 Mhz.

Yeah but that's just how it is with laptops, and they have a great thing with the Mac Pro, that beast is totally upgradeable. Anyhow, I think im gonna hold on to the MBP I have now, it would be a total pain in the arse to get a new one setup how I have this one, and I cant justify losing 300 or 400 bucks just to step up to the C2D and a larger hard drive (as much as I'd love to!!!).
