I just got to work and my back office machines hp 1502 flat panel bit the dust. Looks like the power supply went TU. If i unplug and plug back in it will start to turn on and then u hear a low pitch squeal and the screen flickers and dies. Crappy hp products!

Sounds a lot like what my Hyundai monitor did. Not mentioning any names on who recommended it. *cough* Frag *cough*

well my p4 has a 15" same montor as the hp 1502 and it is 3 yrs old tft

:topic: My school has RM TFT monitors and one went crackle and pop 2 weeks after getting them. 
I have an ACER AL1916W and its brilliant!

Frag do you have a VOM? Maybe check if the power supply for the monitor is working properly.

yeah i do but hp overnighted us a replacement so no worries.
