My Rig

Hey guys

First time posting to this forum so i thought i'd start with my rig. I'v just moved out from my parents place and got my own place so i do not have the money for the best upgrades.

This rig was build in Sep. 2012 and have undergone some changes lately. Since it was originally built i have swapped out the RAM, got a second GPU, swapped out all fans and just recently added some sweet IceModz LED strips.

My rig started out with these specs:
i7 3820 @ Stock
Asus P9X79
Asus GTX 670 DCII
Corsair CX600
2x4 GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 1866Mhz
H100 with stock fans
CM Storm Stryker

The fans was the first thing i replaced. They were replaced in Dec. 2012. Now i'v got Nanoxia FX-EVO fans on all mounts in my case.

The RAM was changed when I attended The Gathering 2012 because my friends RAM died and the 2x8 GB kit he bought was not compatible with his X58 MB. So we permanently swapped RAM. Now I'v got 2x8 GB Kingston HyperX Black The Gathering Edition.

In November this year i bought a used Asus 670 DCII with plans to SLI. What I didn't think about was my poor 600W PSU. So now i am saving money for a new PSU while my second 670 is gathering dust.

Thoughts? Fire!

nice simple clean build! do you really need the two fans? the rear and intake? just thinking of noise but if its not not loud then i guess why not maybe put them on the rad instead?

This build is really nice i like it! shame about he fans being green but other than that its nice!

The Nanoxia fans are actually really quiet. I'v got a NZXT Sentry Mesh fan controller so i rarely even hear any noise. Just btw, those two are not the only intake. I'v got 1 front fan and 1 blowing over my disks and out through the back panel mesh.

The top metal heatsink on my MB (i believe it cooling for my VRM) is restricting me front push/pull. Not that i need push/pull either. 50 C max temps while running BF4 and stuff

Ty The worst thing is that they are impossible to disassemble so i can't paint them either.. or i can but it would probably be a pain in the a**
