Hey guys,

Just wanted to sign up and show off my rig a bit. As per the thread title, I am new to PC gaming, as I've always been a console gamer, Always wanted to build myself a PC, but never had the nerve until now;

Corsair C70 case (Black)
i7 4770k (stock ATM)
16GB 1866MHz Dominator Platinum RAM + Light bar upgrades
Sabertooth Z87 Motherboard
EVGA GTX 780 Classified + Backplate
Corsair H100i CPU cooler
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD
WD Green 2TB HDD
AX860 PSU, with individually sleeved cables
Pioneer Blu-Ray Writer
Lamptron fan controller
5 Bequiet Silent Wings 2 120mm fans
2 Corsair SP120 Quiet Edition 120mm fans

Its only been up and running for a month or two, I haven't really had the time to read into overclocking, but its on the to do list

After Christmas, I plan to add a second GPU, and a monitor or 3 (not decided yet)

EDIT:
Added a second 780 Classified

Just need to order a backplate for the second GPU, when that's in I'll clean up the PCI cables.

Removed the optical drive, replaced it with a second WD Green 2TB

Fitted a plastic sheet over the white sticker on the AX860

Replaced the BQ exhaust with an SP120

Simple clean and effective dude nice one - Id only change two things

1 most important remove the optical drive

2 turn the psu round :D

Nice and clean, just the way I like it.

Should only try to hide that cable coming from the H100i pump block a bit better though :)

PS; Welcome to the forums!

amazing build, doesn't look at all like your first one. seems like you did a bit of research. very well done

also, welcome!

ahh, I forgot to mention, I am at some point going to remove the optical drive and replace it with another HDD, and put the optical drive in an enclosure

Thanks guys :)

Hell of a way to start into the DIY PC world! Nice looking rig and a pretty high end one too!

If this is your first time building a pc I'm impressed.
Great cablemanagement, good choice of parts, positive air pressure.
Thers one thing i dont like though, you have way to manny fans, reminds me of myself a while back, "fill all the empty fan spots".

Welcome to the forums buddy :) This looks very clean and minimalistic :) If you'd rather not put the PSU in the other way round, you should make a cover for it of some sort, or even just some vinyl to cover up the sticker (although the cover would be easier to remove for warranty purposes obviously)

mmmmmm clean build just how i like it, well done on the presentation mate but i agree with the 2 things Tom put aswell :)

that's definitely a whole lot cleaner than my first rig, maybe a pic of the cable management in the back?
also you forgot to mention the case.

oops sorry, its a Corsair C70, I've replaced the side window with a solid one (no fan mounts).

and honestly, the cable management at the back is non-existent! It really is a mess back there, and if I could go back and do it all again I'd definitely cable manage things as I went (after POST check of course!)

Right now its a case of 'if it aint broke dont fix it' so I'll leave it be.

Regarding the PSU orientation, my case pulls in filtered air from the underside, which is how I want it, as it'll stop it from pulling air from the GPU, especially when I put another one in there.

The sticker doesn't bother me all that much, though I have been thinking about it today, and I could make a cover of some sort, I'd rather go down that route over using a sticker.
