ASUS Mars 760, nobody is talking about it?

Honestly surprised i haven't seen this pop up on this forum, knowing TTL's past with mars cards i was hoping to see something from him on this (hints), it seems to have a relatively quiet hype build up around it?

Any thoughts on this? I just dont understand the need for a dual mid range card, maybe if it was cheaper than a 780ti? i dnno.

It looks like it's on par with the 780 specs wise and then some with the increased bus etc... but dual cards are a very niche market.

You realize that all the specs including the bus size is all doubled right? You have one 760 and another, hence the 760*2 specs equaling a 780.

Oh Asus, you cray cray.

I'm quite interested in this card as I've always wanted to own one of these ASUS super cards. Depending on reviews I might be tempted. If it costs stupid amounts then I won't touch it though.

I think it's right on the money if you want a slightly hotter, slightly more power hungry, slightly more expensive, slightly uglier and slightly worse performing GTX780.

I can see where they might be coming from in that a super-card might be great for the mATX mITX niche where you can't squeeze in SLI but you want that bit more performance, but it won't be as good as a 780 and certainly not a 780ti, so erm wtf asus

I'm taking a quick guess and putting this between the 780 and the Ti version, if it takes that sweet spot and gets the price down right it could be a popular card for small form factor builds. It also comes with some sweet epeen . Even if it doesn't reach that sweet spot it would be interesting to see a quad sli setup of these.

And i knew something was going on Tom, you sly bugger.
