does that board look lost in there or what
63163_3043263457830_2111733429_n.jpg

made back white for the contrast is it me or is it getting bigger
391002_3043263737837_174438702_n.jpg

even with PSU in it empty
thats it for today see what tomorrow brings
feel free to take the p.... I mean comment :)

Have an Elysium myself, and it is indeed rather massive.

Quick question: What are you going to put inside that case to make it look not so empty
anymore? Also, the PSU cable cover thingy looks nice. :)

I got rads for top and front and a tube res but she still going to be roomy
that cable cover is the corner of a dewalt tool case cut off and wrapped

Have you wrapped the m/b tray? I like the contrast.

yes I had the wrap laying about and the black MB on black looked lost so gave it a try

little update been making some noise and mess today
931181_3045660997767_1376738049_n.jpg

can you tell what it is yet :)
922785_3045661797787_221776374_n.jpg

wanted to mount rad without any case cutting if possible
23868_3045661597782_924772449_n.jpg

slots over the tabs so no bending or cutting them off and bolt down using HDD screw holes
37022_3045661197772_1308067294_n.jpg

fits just nice only fitting a 240 rad but cut for 480 hoping to upgrade later
321526_3045662277799_617043672_n.jpg

80mm rad in push/pull comes flush with rear of the bay what more can I ask for
before anyone say's thats not the fans I'll be using just setup one's
935698_3045661917790_716751017_n.jpg

got top rad fitted 45mm in push/pull and loads of room left
thats today done see what tomorrow bring's

little update not much done today
537942_3049833022065_1882547156_n.jpg

got fans mounted and all the hole lined up :)
528242_3049832462051_1362829937_n.jpg

fitted some led strip to MB side of GPU waterblock and started to throw some hose at it to work out what looks right
935577_3049832382049_1127873839_n.jpg

not sure what to do down here to just stand pump on bottom with res above also thought about boxing it in level with top of PSU to hide pump and cabling what you all think I'm leaning towards boxing in but the bottom fan air flow concern's me

Great job on that huge mounting bracket man!! Very slick! I'm jealous of you guys that have skills with tools. :)

thanks mate most of my tool shed is geared towards wood working and some of the skills don't transfer to metal too well had a few things broken or take flying lessons

Haha, I'm familiar with that

And yes I agree, that front mounting bracket is pretty awesome.

A little more playing today

Photo0488.jpg
front of the platform sloped to avoid fan air flow
Photo0490.jpg

needs more work yet but I think you get the idea pump to be hidden under this going to wrap it when finished not sure if to go white to match MB tray or black for the contrast any thought welcome

got a bit more done today
PSU boxed in with pump hidden covered the side of the drive bays
and got the wet stuff in and tested please ignore cable hanging out its a test supply for the pump :)

not normaly a lover of chrome but my god that front end looks awesome :)
and loving the work mate, that case really does look empty... a little tip if you can turn the speed down on the bottom fan otherwise you will end up with a large loop of turbulent air, under your GPUs which will hold heat

Nice work, man! That bottom box is looking very sharp

look awesome dude!!

thank you people loving these comments especially seeing the standard of your work
this build is being done on a very tight wallet and most of the while its a case of making it work with what you got
I left work a few years ago to care for the wife as she is terminally ill and the time is getting very short for her now she can't move from bed now and weigh just over 30kg/65pound or 5 stone
hence the playtime name it is my playtime gives me something else to think about
