random black squares/rectangles in firefox, driver or card?

Fairly recently i upgraded my gpu from 2 5770's to a single 7870 TLE (powercolor myst), now in Firefox i keep getting these black square things on the screen, mostly in the Facebook chat sidebar but also pretty much everywhere else just less often. the disappear when you highlight the are they are on. Tried winodws 7 and 8 and same thing on both. I'm currently using catalyst 13.3 beta drivers but the same thing happened on the last non beta version too.

any suggestions or has anybody else had this?

i get the same issue too fella an i am on the 13.1 drivers

try using chrome because imo it is better than firefox

firefox used to be so good and then they ruined it. i finally made the switch to chrome when firefox started lagging really badly whenever i had it opened on two monitors.

I haven't used chrome for a while but when I did I can honestly say I'd rather use internet explorer. That is how much i disliked chrome, it was horrible at youtube and i just hated it all round, whereas firefox has never been the slightest problem for me. The only issues I have had with Firefox is when i was using nightly and occasionally they screwed up the update.

I never had this issue before the change of graphics card, so I'm not ready to abandon Firefox over this just yet.
