Looks like a nice build.

Looking forward to see what you can do in that case with water cooling. I'm no modern day water cooling guy, never done it for myself, just helped friends in the old days...hard to imagine getting enough cooling in that case. Seems like something so open will be dusty. I could be all wrong. :)

i think you should leave the ram block on the virtual store's virtual shelf.....

they're a complete exercise in futility.

unless you REALLY like the looks of them

hmm ok so is their another way to do the ram in water cooled ?
He says, watercooling RAM is completely useless. He meant all the RAM blocks in particular. Just don't watercool the RAM. Unless you like the look of these blocks. And if that's the case, I would check out the EK RAM blocks if I were you, they look better.

I dunno man, I wouldn't simply FORGET about it, follow through as YOU see fit. Always gonna be people who don't like something you're doing but that doesn't mean that YOU have to agree with it or placate them simply because you're on the same forum as they are. I say move forward, and dammit if you want to try watercooling your RAM then go for it, then if you find out that it's worth f***-all afterwards for your needs, then OH WELL, you can remove it and sell the parts off to someone ELSE who wants to do that. The idea (as I see it) behind these project logs is to showcase a bit of your own take on how it CAN be done, and see if there is any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism to be had. If so, take it with a grain of salt.

*side note* - I MIGHT just agree with the notion that the Antec name being on this isn't the BEST idea (personal experience)... doesn't mean it still wouldn't be cool to see someone try something a bit different with it x-)

Must say that I quite liked this case when it came out. I guess I assumed that being so open it would be excellent for air cooling. What shocked me was how bad it was. I guess it's because there's no air pressure in there so air doesn't disperse as it should.

No idea how they will be for water cooling but again I'm going to assume that sitting a radiator in "free space" will be quite good for cooling.

I'm on the fence when it comes to looks. I should hate it given I'm a hater of mesh and windows but at least it's different.

Do agree that Antec suck though. Over rated over priced stuff IMO. How their cases with steel unpainted insides got the review scores they did is still a mystery to me.
