hay everyone,
was just wondering for all you people who have used copper or nickel tubing how did you connect the tubes to the fitting and what type of fittings did you use. thank you :)

copper tubing? god that must be a mess to do correctly. but i guess it works similiar to the normal tubing, with a screw fitting.

Timeless is correct, Bitspower multi link fittings and 12mm OD copper tubing is what I used.

Copper tubing does look ace, especially the chromed stuff.

I'm still looking in to it myself. Many folk asked BNegative in his pipe bending thread what fittings he used but he wasn't forthcoming or more likely missed thread.

Apart from the compression fit there is always push-in fittings from the likes of Festo.

The one issue I have is how to connect copper tubing to the Koolance QDC's, or if there is other QDC's that I could use.

I'll have a look at those Bit$power ones, but they are quite overpriced that I have seen when looking before.

Here is a link to the fittings that BNegative uses.

Yeah I spotted those, but the ones from aquatuning are cheaper, albeit push-fits.

I seem to have high-jacked this thread! Sorry OP!

Depending on the tubing used you can use Koolances compression fittings for metal,Bitspower Sli fittings,Camozzi push fit fittings or Aquatuning push fit.

Cheers B_Negative.

Can I ask where you got your chromed copper tubing from? Seen stuff on ebay that's coiled, not sure if I'd get it straight enough to look right.

Your rig just confirms to me chromed copper is the way to go!

good point, I did not even think of that. Soon more of the fitting manufacturers will be coming our with more selection.
