3500+ venice or 3700+ san diago
which core would be better value for gaming?
i know they both run at 2.2Ghz and the only difference is the extra 512k of cache. will this scale game frame rates as much as a clock increase?
i am a pureist so i want the best possiable core for gaming in my budget. thanks

The 3700+ is the best value for money and clocks really well with most of them hitting 3ghz easily on no special cooling.

well the extra cache might give an overhead in some situations but will be a drag in others.
for example superpi runs FASTER with 512kb cache then with a bigger 1024kb cache.

I love my Sandy, 2.86 at 1.45v (.05 above stock), and 3ghz at 1.52v, very healthy
