RAM for Conroe build

Hi Guys

Well I've just ordered my Asus P5W DH, and I'm looking for some go fast RAM to fill it out with. I was initially going to go with an Conroe 6400, but have since changed my mind, and decided to spend the extra moolah and get the 6600 (even though I'd love to have the 6800, I can't stretch that far ). Really quite unclear as far as DDR2 goes mate. I know the Mushkin kits are decent but not a clue on GEIL

You mean the XP2's mate? Yeah the Mushkin performs really well on Asus mobo's. I'll have a bit more of a look around, and thanks for the input

Yeah, i'm running the mushkin on my 630 atm. It's very nice, quite overclockable and perfect for a conroe build.

Unless you are going for a mega overclock on your conroe (phase change etc), then PC6400 should do the trick - otherwise take a look at some PC8000.
