Hi,

so after i got my parts i spend my weekend building my wc in there.
Notice this is my first attempt at watercooling and i know theres lots to do better.

Still i wanna know what you think of this:

Alright so things i dont really like:
-position of res and pump (lying horizontal)
-the tube from gpu to rad touching the window
-general untidyness of using no angles
-monsoons not fitting my pump/pumptop

I might get some angles soon and maybe another res, the strange tube from the top-in-outlet of the ek-res is kinda weird and doenst make sense to me.

More thoughts?

Maybe rotate the pump 180". That way the Tubing won't cross. Also get a 90" fitting for the GPU block (the top thread), and the tubing from the CPU to the res can be cut shorter.
Other than that an amazing rig, I really like it :)

I agree with the above about rotating the pump and getting the 90 degree fittings. Other than that it looks really good for a first attempt :)

Looks nice for a first try! :) I agree with the guys. Would turning the rad around help and go pump>GPU>CPU>Rad>Res?

Looks very good indeed. One thing i noticed tho was that the RAM looks out of place, i think black or white RAM would fit in with the colour scheme a lot better. Apart from that and what the guys have said above me it looks good

Alright so i might turn the pump, but that would make hiding those colored cables a little hard and face the ugly black side towards the window (not too bad when the panel is on).

Ill definately get at least one 90° fitting for the gpu, maybe even 2.
Other than that, id like the res mounted somewhere else.. but dont really know where (preferably vertical!)

Thanks for your input guys :)

Yea.. now that you mention it, the RAM really doesnt fit in that good.. might pick up some Platinum when i finish my drivers license.

Can someone recommend 90° fittings that dont destroy the looks completely ? ;)

Really like that. As you say, only thing id like to change is where the pump is, and some angled fittings. I reckon the res looks super cool lying flat like that, and i think the RAM looks really cool in red too; adds just enough colour.

Looks really good man! I'm getting all my water cooling parts for my first set up this week i'll try to make it look as good as yours

When you get the 90s try to move the reservoir and pump to the closer to the 5.25 drive bays, will make your loop a lot tidier

Wow nice man, I really like it. yeah there are little pet peeves you may have with it but over all it looks nice, good job!

Alright so i think im gonna get the EK 90° fittings in black, i dotn want them to stand out too bad! (and theyre kinda cheap)

Thanks again for the OC3D-approvement for my first try ;)

edit: anyone got a tip on how to open the top of the EK-res ? i might wanna take the inner tube out for easier filling and stuff but couldnt get it open when i tried so i let it the way it was..

Pretty sure you need to use a screwdriver to get it off the top mate :)

Little Update, got some angles, put the res on another place.
Pretty much everything i didnt like in the first version.

Looks much better but you could still have got the hosing from the GPU down to the pump etc tidier.

Do you not hear the pump with it mounted direct to the case?
