I think i broke my NV SILENCER. I've been using an NV SIlencer 6 REV 2 on my 7600 GT when I removd it today to apply some AS5 on the bottom and to rmeove the heatpad on it. So, I am tightening it up when BAM snapidy dap! The little poll that I screw into literally falls out. Dear god. I cant even get the tightening nt off. I have NO CLUE what to do. Please any ghetto solutions? PLEASE! thank you. And anyone have spare 33 bucks to help me buy a zalman? :]

I had the same thing with an old NV5 I had. Don't know what you can do unless you get the soldering iron out

ahh darn. was hopin there was soemhtin thqat doesnt rquire a soldering iron (dont have one T_T) Have you tried any Zalmans? I don't think I wanna go back to AC. And seriosully...who wnats to lend me some $ :]

Yea, well see the rpoblem with that is umm my dad is more into software than ahrdware...he'd be much more supportive if I was like developing some program lol...and this was not supposed to happen....i didnt plan on having to buya new cooler so yea i cant really ask my dad or my mom....whoever helps out I rpomise to pay back once I get my highschool work pass. (cant wait to work) :]

heres a long shot but get some real small wire ties put one thru the hole and use the bigger end on other side to hold it.

yea i was using a VF-700 Cu for quite a while, very effective and relatively quiet

lol maybe you should see if you can mow peoples yards for cash lol be alot easyer then asking for some money over the net. And sence your young you would have to give a address for someone to send money to and thats not wise.
