'IDE initialization is started'

Hi.

Got a new wad of upgrades last week, including a 3770k and an ASUS P8Z77 Deluxe.

The system works perfectly fine, havent had any issues whatsoever with it...

But, on the LED indicator, even when booted into windows I get the code A0 which in the motherboard is 'IDE initialization is started'.

It's just bugging me now, anyone have any ideas how to get rid of it?

Tried clearing the CMOS, latest BIOS, and checked the drive is in AHCI not IDE...

Not really sure what else to try

try it in IDE mode?

Dont worry about it. It is a bug in the BIOS. I get the same thing with my Gene Z board. If it really bothers you install an older BIOS.

Or you may have initialized IDE.

Tried - now has an even better message - error loading operating system.

This mean I'm gunna have to reinstall windows...?
