if you have 2 1gb cards in SLI it will still only have 1gb as it renders the image on both cards. you need a 2 gb card to have more useable v ram try turning settings down a bit to free up some v ram maybe?

i dont use bbao etc. as those settings are for quad 690 and i run 64man at 2x aa with fxaa injector and colour correction, and often turn upto 4x on 32 man.

not bothered about aa anyways

No it will always be the mem amount of the lowest card so in your case 1 GB. You would have to buy two 2GB cards to get 2gb ram

BF3!?

That is BS (no offence). Even my 680 on the least intensive moments uses 1.4gb.

get rid of the 560ti and spend the money you were using to get another, on a 670 or 680 if you can afford it.

i got a second 560ti for the exact same reason, my BF3 was not running at the specs i wanted. spent an extra £180 and got 2fps extra

take it from someone who made the same mistake i never listened to the advice i was given

Exactly. Sell your current card, get a 670, and enjoy the smoothness. I have noticed a BIG improvement, even when I was upgrading from 570. It is worth every penny.
