Hi Guys,

Still on XP? Take a look at just how old it really is!

Looking to upgrade? Buy a new Windows 7 PC from Aria (from £399) that is preloaded with Windows Live/Office Starter/Security Essentials. -

Windows 7 is designed for the hardware of today.

Frankly I'm amazed people still use XP. It's just so old. Perhaps they seem to think that Windows 7 is as bad as Windows Vista.

I can't stand XP any more since going Windows 7. I have it on my back up craptop only because it can't run anything else and I hate using it.

XP still works but it's like an old car, the parts aren't made for it any more and it doesn't have the modern stuff that new cars have.

Windows XP doesn't even support Direct x 10 without mods so surely upgrading to Windows 7 is necessarily. Although maybe Windows Vista might have scared some people ;]

The point is that "old car" can still get people from A to B, people who don't care about the latest and greatest. This applies to XP.

I just got rid of XP a while back, doing a freash install and the disc was scrached . My machine is old It could never have run Vista, and everything I heard about it, was most people hated it and it was a resorce hog.

I played around with a machine in best buy running Windows 7, while buying a new monitor, I thought to myself "this ain't so bad" , a couple days later I got me a copy of W7, and my old machine runs it fine.

The main reason to upgrade is all the patches, , XP was great in its time, but now it needs 3 service packs and 288 updates just to function marginally fine.

It's not all blue skys for me though, some of my componets don't have driver support for W7(mostly motherboard extra features), lots of google serches for patches to get stuff tricked into working.
