They're definitely not overrated, they're one of the most highly regarded brands of RAM on the market. I think they're fantastic.
As for that overclock, that is seriously impressive! 3700MHz is out of this world.

I got twenty gigs of gskil ripjawsx cl9 @ 1600 an they overclock like cheese.......

gskill have been doing top class ram for a while, just nobody talks about them as they aint corsair.
some of the best sticks of ddr2 i ever played with was 1066mhz cas 5 "pi" gskills
