Hello, i have a question, i wanted to buy a 120gb ssd, i have a friend who can get me a new kingston hyperx 120gb relatively cheap, he has a company that is renting servers so he gets hardware cheep, however that is the only 120gb ssd he can get me, now there is a little problem, that is a very fast ssd, but controler on my ASRock 890gx extreme 3 will not be able to use it"s max preformance, it is a SATA3 contoller but still, only sandybridge can use max speeds of that ssd, here is a copy of mail that kingston replied to me:

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your e-mail.

Regarding your query, our R&D would like to point out that with the ASRock 890GX Extreme3 Motherboard, you will probably not reach the maximum performance of the HyperX SSD. In fact, you will likely achieve between 70 and 80% of the stated performance.

However, our experts also advised that the HyperX SSD is still a good upgrade and a choice in case you want to switch from AMD to Intel.

We trust that the above information will be of assistance to you. However, should you have further queries do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards,

now they say i"m gonno get 70-80% performance, witch is still preatty good, and for the price i"m gonna get the ssd i can"t get anything else as fast as a hyperx, so i just wanted to see is there anyone who has hyperx on an 890gx motherboard because i wanna know does it still preform very good, and will overclocking northbridge give me more ssd performance? btw i have a phenom 1055t clocked at 3.5ghz + 8gigs od kingston hyperx memory, i"m upgradeing from a wd black 640gb, i also have a 2tb wd green for storage.
