The IGP has DX11 I believe, not sure where I read that but it was a while ago. They are powerful chips these Ivy Bridges.

They faked the F1 2011 demonstration which was supposed to show the capabilities of the HD 4000 integrated grpahics on ivybridge

Yes I saw that same news story break as well... However, later in the day, they showed an Ultrabook running that game to small press groups. Problem seemed to be "skill based" - i.e. a good presenter does not necessarily make a good gamer! They did fess up to it. But given the utter pants COD skills that the guy showed on stage, no reason to doubt that was live!

As Ya93sin says, these Ivy Bridge chips look to be something special again. Makes me wonder what AMD can do to combat Intel's continued dominance in the CPU market.

Hope they have something to offer.. Otherwise the next couple of quarters are going to be sloppy and boring

Agreed. I think that we were all seriously disappointed with Bull-dozzzzz-er.

But at present seems like AMD are playing catch up with Intel and Nvidia. For the sake of the whole PC market, AMD have go to raise their game.
