virgin mobile in spain

Hi all, just got back from a weeks holiday in Spain, but all week did not have the use of my phone. I tried all week to get it to pick up a carrier but it just would not have one. I have a Samsung galaxy s2 which works all the time in the UK. Virgin mobile say that they have good coverage where i stayed in Murcia as you can see from the map below.



I just wanted to know have you guys had the same problem, if it virgin mobile or is it my phone. Tell me your experience with this.

I know someone who has a s2 and is on 3 he went to berlin for new years and had no reception @ all but i doubt its the phone tbh

When I went Benidorm, my phone didn't pick up a carrier over the entire 4 days. And roaming etc was turned on. Virgin are just shit for OOC stuff.
