Bullets and magazine heat sinks are an acquired taste to some, i really only like the one on my G1 Assassin, however this is still a nice board and a great addition to the X79 lineup.

I Would Agree with you there they are suited for certain people and I have to admit I like the look of this board however for me something like this and the other kit to go with it would be out of my price range so I just gotta keep dreaming

The ability to disable individual PCIe 3.0 slots sounds extremely useful for benchmarking and testing different GPUs.

I do like the all black looks and 8 RAM slots, but the guns and bullets on a mainboard or enywhere else are just not for me...

I just hope they bring a full water block out for it before i can afford to buy one.. couldnt live with myself knowing theres a magazine on my board xD

to me the heatsink on the south bridge looks more like crayons than bullets, the rest of the heat sink i don't mind and at first i never even noticed that they were parts of weapons
