Hey, I am looking for a good quality power supply between £30 and £50. It has to be low noise and efficient. It has to have to have enough juice to run a 120 watt PC plus a 5850 at max load (I will be folding 24/7). Anything over 350 watts would be ideal.

I was thinking of this...

Is there any other great PSU's in my budget?

Thanks!

That looks like a good PSU for your needs. I have a BeQuiet myself and I couldn't be happier. They are top notch PSUs.

There's also the Corsair builder series:-

Don't know how good they are though - non-modular as well. That BeQuiet does look good for the money.

Yeah - can you elaborate - thought they would be OK for a basic build?

When I was building a rig for a friend several people on this forum told me to stay away from them.

I thought they just got unlucky so I got one for him.

2 months later, it died.
