Finally upgraded to EVGA 570 card from my old GTX560Ti and while it does perform better in the fps market its not that great in benches yet since its voltage is locked at 1.00 I cant get much over the stock 732core. I have reinstalled afterburner and reset the card and nothing has unlocked yet. I am a bit bummed on that aspect.

now for the good as I stated it does a helluva lot better fps wise in benches I was seeing 10-15fps better than before (but lower score lol) and in games I have noticed an improvement in fps as well. 3-6 to be exact. And temps OMFG!!!! idles at 39 and barely busted 70c (71c) in a 1 hour benching session. My old 560 was like 50 idle and 85 gaming unless I set the fan to 65% then it was loud. This 570 never ramped up at all the whole time. Going to do a couple hours of crysis 2 and see if it ramps up any but I am doubting it.

Have you got the side fan installed on the Storm Sniper? Or will it not fit with the D14?

Don't wanna sound like a dick, but have you enabled the "Unlock Voltage Mod" in Afterburner settings? You probably already have I imagine.

Kick ass performance there

I was gonna get a 560ti myself, but now you've tempted me towards a 570 again lol.

yes I do and always have it fits perfectly with the D-14 the sniper has the bulge out sides on it for the fan and cable management

yes I clicked it AB its always been there but I had to use the AB beta to get it unlocked its now showing again just havent had much time to play with it since my lil ones arrived they go home to mom tomorrow so I'll be doing some oc'n on it (since the GTX570HD isnt reference design had to use the beta version) its based in part on the 560ti pbc and cooler design. shorter pcb and center fan

lol the 8400 is my backup card I originally got it for my lil ones rig but as she has onboard vid it never made it in lol. I do want to wc the whole shebang but for how I want to do it the costs get sidestepped for other upgrades lol. I'd want to dual or trip rad the cpu then dual rad the gpu in either a single or dual loop with EK blocks plus I still want a second gpu at some point just havent decided how to do it as I have a Lucid Hydra chip my options are greater. Plus my ultimate goal would be to get a 590 lol but I'd need to upgrade my psu first lol for about any upgrade to the dual gpu side of things. main reason for this latest rounds of upgrades is I got a 250$ bonus on my last check for commission and performance

on another note I did put the fan tach on for imgame display and I saw that the fan was indeed ramping up to 70-75% but I never heard it at all lol I was like really 75% my old 560ti at 75% was screaming at me.

well I had some time to play around with benching. And I have come to a sad realization I havent really benched since I got this Extrme board and while I can acheive the oc's I had with the formula my cpu scores are dropping in the benches. There by making my overall score less I was getting 19322gpu and 60936cpu with an overall 23300 score with my formula board now I am getting 24000 gpu and 21000 cpu with an overall score of 20950. So overall the performance of the card rocks this mobo suxs lol.

yes I am and hmmmm good point there but I am not a bench master in any way lol so a question why would physics run on my cpu with the 570 and not the 560?? the 570 has more memory to play with so I would imagine it would run on gpu lol. And how would I change that setting to make it run on gpu over cpu.
