SO this is my first post. I Recently bought all new hardware to build a new PC to game with and just for general upgrade. I got everything in the mail and put it all together. When i done this i found my self running into a problem that i can't quite wrap my head around. Everything was sitted properly and secure. I got to turn it on and everything gets power, Video card fan spins up all the lights and fans. There is no signal to the monitor. The LED on the button on the monitor stays amber as if it was still in "power saving" mode. So i take everything apart and resit everything again. Still the same thing. I get no system beep no nothing. So i get to the point of i just want my desktop back so i can play some games and relieve some stress. I put my old system back together in the new case with the new power supply. The old system worked at 100% before all this. Now i am running into the same problem as i had with my new system. With no video on the monitor with the old system i still get sound of windows booting up. just no image.

I did swap out my old video card for the new in my new system still nothing. Like i said there is no system beeps no nothing. Yeah i did hook power up to the Video card itself in the 6pin

GIGABYTE GA-P67A-UD3-B3 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

I had the same problem when I built my rig and it was only because I put the DVI cable in the second DVI output on the card. I'm assuming you've already tried this but just on the slight chance you hadn't I thought I would post it.

you also have 1600 DDR3 on a 1333 mobo (but do not worry as it will clock down)

The PSU could be the prob considering you are having the same problem in two different rigs. The 5750 only needs a minimum of a 450w PSU so a 630w should be more than enough to run everything even with an overclock.

It could also be the video card. On your SB build have you tried using the other PCI-E lane? if not give that a try and see if it will work and if it does then it's the mobo. A couple of other things you could try though are, remove the CMOS battery and make sure all other leads are disconnected from the motherboard, wait 10-15 minuets and then put it all back together and try again. Also if you have any USB devices like Keyboard, mouse or USB data stick remove those and try booting without them, I had a similar problem when I first got my P8P67 it wouldn't boot with any USB devices plugged in and I also got a black screen but when I removed the USB devices it booted and since installing Windows it hasn't happened since.
