Well got my new gpu today Gigabyte 560ti SOC with a p67ud4 b3 so put it in my new computer

when try start it up i got nothing couldnt even get into the bios is has 1 long beep and 2 shoorts ones so i tried putting the card in the other pcie 8x slot and it works

but y wont it work in the 16x slot

please help thanks

two short beeps usually mean the battery is a dud

yeh i get 1 long beep then 2 little ones

do use think i should rma im not sure what to do

Looks like you are not the only one with this prob on gigabyte boards, I did a Google search "p67a ud4 1 long beep and 2 short" and there are a few poeple saying the same, here is one from the official Gigabyte forum http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.p...e;topic=4572.0

The beep code means

"The BIOS is unable to access the video system in order to write any error messages to the screen".

According to http://www.pcguide.com/ts/x/sys/beep/awardB12-c.html

EDIT: Forgot to say try clearing the CMOS, take the CMOS battery and all power cables for 10 minuets and if you haven't done so already update your BIOS.

I know that was just one I picked at random from the Google results, none that i have read through actually give a reason to what is causing it, if I find one I will post it. Also links fixed.
