Hi all

This is my first build and i have a problem with my memory windows 7 64bit only showing 4gb and i have 6 in the memory is the Corsair dominator gt 1600mhz 7-7-7-20 i put it on xmp and the voltage was 1.65 this was in red on the bios is this normal.

I have not yet updated my bios do i need to do this i downloaded cpuz and this shows the memory voltage at 1.50 i do not know what to do as i dont want to damage my cpu the mob is the P6X58D-E hope you can help.

msconfig--->Boot--->Advanced options--->make sure "Maximum Memory" is either unchecked or set to the correct number....

Having your memory at 1.5v will not damage it, in fact it will help it run cooler. try reseating the ram and the cpu and see if that works
