Black Edition... red slots

They've obviously been taking a leaf out the Sapphire White Edition.

My thoughts exactly. The heatsinks still look like the placed lego blocks on the board.

Lol...it is an ASUS / ROG -black and red color theme, we've seen it many times...rampage,crosshair,maximus etc.... It's nothing like Sapphire "PURE WHITE". Asus didn't name it pure black. The "Black Edition" is because of the Black edition NIC / Xonar card that is bundled with the Mobo.

But if it makes you happy they did change the PCIE slots from red to black
