Is it just me or does OCZ really suck??
I won a 32GB OCZ Throttle USB drive from here a while ago, I think it retails for about 80 quid, I was really happy that I won it, performance seemed to be pretty damn fast to start with... After about 2 days of using it for a few transfers it had the red LED of death and wouldn't let me format it or anything...
Turned out there were a few users with the same issue on their RMA forums, applied for an RMA, paid about 7 quid to post it off abroad, got back a new one.
To be honest was a little bit scared of using it so has been in it's box mostly until today. Worked for one transfer now it's dead, Windows can't see it, can't format it... Nothing! Was trying to create a Windows 7 installation USB drive...
I would hate to buy anything from them with my own money.
Logged into their forums and all my previous posts have been deleted, can't seem to find an RMA forum anymore.
Looked online and TONS of people are having this issue! How can OCZ sell something so crap?
Think I'll just bin it! Not worth 7 quid more to return it to them or the time.
Don't get me wrong I can't thank Overclock 3D enough to have given me this prize but wish it was from another company!
/Rant off!
Edit: Why is this in humour lol, meant to be in rant..
