Hey guys I am looking at spending around £5-600 on a new rig in January times my current rig is outdated and pretty sure the PSU is going to give up on me soon

Any way what I have which I wont need to buy is: monitor/HDD/case basically

and what I need is: CPU, Motherboard, Graphics Card, Ram and PSU

This is what I am pretty sure on getting which is 5870 which I can pick up for £190ish

I watched the budget rig review on youtube, but would prefer to stick with AMD and got for an X4/X6, but feel free to give me as much advice as possible so basically what would you make with £5-600 budget and needing to buy cpu/psu/mobo/graphics and ram

(Sorry if its in the wrong board I didn't want to make a post for every piece of hardware)

P.S. Maybe creating a general new rig forum area would be a bonus !

Going for an AMD X4 is pretty daft IMO. X6 or nothing.

If only, over here that would be about £8-900ish.

You could just buy an AMD overclocked bundle such as this one http://www.aria.co.uk/Systems/Bundle...roductId=42415 and add on a 460 or a 6870

With a HX650 and that bundle is £430

460 direct cu is + £110

6870 is + £200
