Hello everybody!

I've been gone for what seems like forever, and during my time outside of OC3d working full time I've upgraded my stuffs. So I'm just writing to show my updated rig and to let anyone who remembers me know I'm still alive and kicking, and to show the hilariously bad bodge job I did of vents and mounts for my water cooler rad fan. Peace!

I was posting In the introductions section, so the main thing I was hoping for was a "hello" from users I used to post with, in the event they're still active. I also paid £15 for the case so I've got something to hold my new set-up in whilst I save up for and pick out a proper case. It's much cheaper and easier to buy a generic midi case and punch a few holes in it than it is to have it running on a bench whilst I get the money together to finish it off. The pictures were mostly to show what happens when you take a power drill to low quality steel. Not pretty, but it does the job for the time being.

I'll tell you what. I'll add a ton of tacky neons, and giant flames to the side and then maybe it will be cool like those cars out of the fast and the furious. Yeah, that matters way more to me than anything else in the world right now.

Now excuse me whilst I go play metro 2033 in directx 11, and lament that I didn't blow all my money on a pretty case.

Thanks man. I'm going to be cutting out a full fan size aperture and fabricating a custom shroud to cover the intake fan, the above pictures were to see if it would fit mostly. Am assive downside of working on a really cheap case is the poor quality steel. I spent £10 on a hardened, sharpened drill bit and as you can see in the pics, the metal around the holes has warped/torn slightly. Looks like I'm gonna be having a fun few nights with the old files haha :\
