so i am in the market for a new PC that will dominate most games at 1920X1200. I intend to buy all my parts during the post christmas sales, and i'm looking at spending about AUS$3000. Now I know that the new AMD cards "should" be out by then but i'm just wondering if it is worth holding off untill Q3 next year for the new 2011 sockets to come out instead of spending all that money now and just buying a little something something to hold me out till then.

2011 is not Q3. Cant say any more than that atm other than it will be later.
