Hello,

I am looking for a new monitor in the 23" range and found two that seem of similar quality and price, the Dell Ultrasharp 2311H and the Samsung PX2370.

Can anybody advise as to which monitor is better for general purpose use (movies, games, light drawings, playstation 3, ...) or is there another monitor that you would recommend?

I posted this on a other forum but didn't get any useful responds .I hope you guys can !

Thanks in advance,

Cedric

I would go with the U2311H just because it's an IPS Panel.

Out of those two the dell because of the panel and also because the back of the samsung looks silly and the samsung has a external transformer.

But I wouldn't spend that money on a 23"

I would go for a Samsung SM2333 or similar as they are only around £135
