Yep, that is the only difference that I'm aware of. The IO drive is pretty pointless (and that is from an owner of one).

if you use gaming headphones go with the cheaper one. since gaming headphones don't produce hi-fi quality their is no point in investing on an expensive audio card.

Anything with the Fatal1ty badge on it I avoid, i'd rather give myself a root canal than listen to that guy talk.

yea pretty much here is a good example of a rip off
Fatal1ty version http://us.store.creative.com/PCI-Exp...B0018EFGTM.htm
and the EXACT SAME THING without the sponsor: http://us.store.creative.com/PCI-Exp...B001E25KDK.htm
Both these cards are 90% identical, the Fatal1ty version has more "Xram" which is a joke.

its just like any other branding, i applaud Wendel for making a name for himself and being as successful as he is. i dont buy his stuff per say because you can buy the Exact same thing without the Fatal1ty branding for $50 to $100 less. but if their is a Fatal1ty brand i will always recommend them to the equal version without the brand.

I agree but I got my Fatal1ty card really cheap so I can't complain.
