Hey guys,
I have a xfx 5770 in my system and i want to upgrade.
I was thinking about getting two GTX 480 in SLI then i heard of the AMD 6000 series GPU's?
What would be the best solution, GTX 480 in SLI or wait for the new AMD 6000 series and put them in Crossfire?
thanks,
dipzy

I heard good things about the Nvidia Gtx 480 apart from the heat issue which is minor as im getting water cooling soon.
When i upgrade my graphics cards, i tend to look at which company has the best cards, nvidia or AMD.
But now that i heard of the AMD 6000 series which is due soon, im going to wait and see what they have too offer.

Burn money, burn your case, burn your electricity.
I would -
Either get another 5770 and Crossfire (cheapest option) or go with SLI 460. But, as of now I would reccomend absolutely nothing else. Waiting for the 6 series is probably your best option however if you want a very quick fix get another 5770.

I agree, they do look awesome with their heat pipes coming out the sides of the cards
but they consume too much power and generate quite a bit of heat so im going to wait for the AMD 6000 series.
