Can I put my HDD in my brothers PC so I can take some files I got and copy them onto his HDD? I got my Windows on my HDD so I'm afraid something will mess up. So will it work?

Yeah it will work. Just make sure his drive is still set as the boot drive. Your drive will show up as another drive letter.

That is spot on, just make sure you boot from the right drive and you are sorted.
