OC3D Welcomes the Redline Redux Folding Team

OC3D would like to welcome and introduce the Redline Redux folders to their new home @ OC3D.

The team are currently in 123rd position and doing incredibly well, hopefully with the added exposure OC3D has to offer the team will go from strength to strength.

We would like to encourage all our old folders, and of course any new members interested in supporting this amazing cause to join up and start folding for the Redline @ OC3D folding team!

I think most of us from Redline are really excited about this, I know I am. I think this will be a good fit for both Redline and OC3D.

I've been folding with Redline for a few years now (have a couple points), by far the best team I have been with. They are truly a great group of dedicated folders.

Hi OC3D folders!!!

I've been with Redline-Redux since it's inception, most of us are old Mad Onion/Futuremark benchers and folders. Charlie started this in memory of Phil or Hallowed Point, a dear friend to most of us and the founder of what was then Redline 3D.

I'm sure more of our history be revealed as time goes on.

Well said, Steve. Redline originally started in memory of Phil and we took it from there.

No better way to honour and remember a fallen friend than to create one of the best Teams on the planet!

ok how do i start folding

what program do i need and what points can i expect

You will want to use GPU3 for folding with the GTX460. I'm interested to see what kind of PPD you get with it. You will want to run SMP for CPU folding with your Phenom. Hopefully kup will be posting the install guides shortly. GPU is really easy to set up, SMP takes a little bit more time. Be sure to use team 98860 in your configs!

I'm excited too

To AMDFTW: nm, blah beat me to it. But as he said, try out the GPU folding first as it's very simple to set up compared to SMP. This will help you get familiar with everything.
