Same Model card for Crossfire ??

So iv amlost certainly decided to Crossfire my Asus EAH5870 V2 to another 5870. As this card is classed as a second revision what are the problems i could incure if i buy say a sapphire or xfx rev1 5870 and clock it to the same. Furthermore is there infact no known issues at all ??.

Same family. So 2900 2xxx. 3870 3xxx. 4870 4xxx 5870 5xxx.

just remember that if you overclock your cards the v1 might not OC the same as your V2

Yeah i gatherd that i guess..... well im not expecting to do more than a 950 clock on either so i may be ok.

But im still trying to stablies my 5870 v2 lol. GAME ON !

Yeah revisions of the same model don't make any difference- as long as they're the same model

They don't even have to be the same model man. Well, not unless they changed it all with the 5 series.
