Are these good speeds?

Today i picked up 2 500gb WD greens 32mb cache for £70, thought i would try out a raid

Just wondering if these speeds are anything to be proud of or are they shambles?

Their speeds seem about right iirc. My 500g WDs are in a stack on the shelf looking for a new home.

The greens are more tuned for power saving than speed, but I found them to be decent enough.

£35 each is a fair price for them.

Observing filecopying in windows, you'll never see those kinds of figures during normal use, so don't be alarmed.

Yea I have a single black and get about 100/mb/s on that benchmark. The greens are power savers. Just like that mod that guy built with the 16tb of greens was so it would stay cool enough.

Took me awhile to find the benchmark on your screenshot though... :P

Yeah, i bought them to be nice and cool and to hopefully get me some decent speeds.

And yeah steve, i seem to be having a hard time functioning on my pc

On my last HDD i seem to have had a stuttering problem in some games, but now it seems it has gone :P

dont know if it was down to the last HDD or a complete fresh OS. Either way i'm happy.
