Best buy comes to the UK
just been reading this weeks metro paper,and there is a best buy opening in thurrock retail park.
also if you read the metro make sure you check out page 16 on this as it has a very interesting letter to send.

I saw this aswell, been talking to some americans i play with on xbox live and they seem to think there pretty good, another shop to go up against pc world/currys/ect is a good thing for prices imo

They are a good store to have around. They carry a bit of everything but specialize in nothing. They carry the basic pre-built computers and home entertainment stuff and a lot of games and dvd's, appliances...ect. Only problem around here is because they are a large corporation, they have put many of the small t.v. shops outta business. Here there is a Best Buy about every 10 square miles.

BestBuy, I would say, is the American version of PC World as everyone else has mentioned here but the one difference that isn't obvious would be that they actually had competitive prices, when I was in New York.

Love going to Best Buy in the states merely to browse and tbh Managerial-Specials can be very good.
In the UK tho ? UK prices at "whatever we can get away with" - I would be afraid to say.
