I'm a daddy :DDDD

Finally the wait is over and not many people here knew that my fiancé was expecting. Was a long 9 months with this little man! He went 7days over as well, couldn't wait for him to come out .

Finally my fiancé went in on the 11th at 10am, she was in hospital on the 10th for like 1hour where they said she was 1cm and told to go home. At 7:15 she was in real bad pain so had to go, got there for like 10am. From there she was 6cm which was a big improvement. The service whilst waiting was rubbish, was left without any pain relief for hours.

She was in labour until 12th @ 2am where they said that if she doesn't progress more than 9cm they will have to go for a C-SECTION.

Everything was going fine until babies heart rate dropped , she had to be rushed into theatre where they had her hooked up to all sorts of machinery. Some machine was based on Windows XP, so there I was feeling really anxious just waiting for a BSOD.

Finally 20mins later he was out and crying , and he was an awesome baby boy

His name is Liam and he weighed 7lbs 14oz, born at 2:19am on 12th (Monday early morning)

Was a scary ride at the end, I had no idea what was going on, but it was needed and she signed for it.

Here he is the same day he came out

Both mother and son are fine and back home now. Was in hospital for 3days.

contrats mate its great new addition, my sister had a little baby girl on the 12th at 3.42am she was 6lbs 14 and called molly here's a pic of her

molly was 9 days late and my sister hated every extra day (dislocated hips and pelvis about 2-3 times a week for the last 4 months of her pregnancy) but she finally went into labour in the early hours of sunday and went to the hospital in the afternoon but didnt get sent home cause she was classed as high risk and was booked in for a c section the very nexy day but she didnt end up needing one just had to get the forceps as u can see by the marks on the baby face

we will have to get them to grow up as fellow geeks ha ha
