mob cup socket pins 775 ASUS P5E3 Premium/WiFi-AP @n Q6600

Help!!!!

I have just changed my cup cooling. When i went to put the cup back in I noticed that 3 pins in the socket on the mob ASUS P5E3 Premium/WiFi-AP @n where bent. I put the computer back toghter and it booted up into windows.

Will I have any problem with the cpu????

Will I have to change the mob - CPU Q6600

Any Help.

I accidentely bent a couple of my pins on my P5K-e. Managed to get them back kinda but sometimes the PC would freeze on setting up usb or something. you cant rma either cuz it's physical damage. (if its still in warrenty)

I dunno personally I think that as long as you can get them standing straight again it should be fine. The motherboard is more robust then you think.

some pins can be missing on the socket and still run fine, cant remember where i read it.

but im sure you can google it up.

Generally if you have bent pins and it works be thankfull, normally that means you need to replace the mobo. Id leave the cpu in there now if I was you
