Microsoft Word 2003 HELP!!!

Hi guys

I need help with a microsoft word problem.

I have one file where if I hit the hyphen key I get a raised full stop instead, its only in one file, all my other word documents are fine, also I have checked the language settings and they are set correctly

Anyone help?????

Not sure about specifically 2003 version, but I do know Word in general has this thing called AutoText (or similar).

Have a look in the Tools->AutoCorrect.. (I think it's called) and it'll have something in there where u press or type one thing and it'll display something else.

I *believe* the settings can be per-document.

lol lot's of guessing going on, but it's where I'd be looking.

This is a bit of an open one. Have you tried changing the font and such? Also have you tried opening the document on another PC?
