Swish or CPU'ish....opinions wanted
Hi guys,
Somebody gave me the idea of turning the 'O' in the new OC3D logo into a CPU'like graphic to retain some likeness to our old logo. I've done a quick sketch in fireworks to see what it looks like and came out with this:
I'm just after your opinions at this point. I'm not by any means saying that the logo will change.

Hmmmm.. not sure it looks a little errr " Busy " if you get what i mean.
Most famous logos are plain and bold which i think you have achieved with the current one.

Might work, but don't think the blandness of the coloring or the size of it in relation to the banner right next to it, does it any justice.
In it's form as shown in OP, I think it looks awful.

The size needs to be bigger in general and positioned centrally on banner.

I really like that. Something like that is needed as currently the logo is a little non-descript. Something like that would also give a nice award logo. In addition, I really like the 'branches' in the C and leading to the subtitle.

I think the current version is better, not too busy.... People know what the site is about when they get here... Doesnt matter if the logo is Non-descript, its the name of the site... Think its position is fine... However, should be named Overclock.gif or something for SEO....
