Hello, I need RAM. simple enough, but does anybody know anywhere (UK) That sells good quality but cheap Memory (PC) preferably DDR3 im not to bothered about Hz (1066 +) thankyou

You've had RAM blow? WTH.

I can't see how you could say you wouldn't use generic RAM when it's exactly the same as branded stuff, without heatspreaders or coloured PCBs.

well when i say blow i mean it as a figure of speech! it just died and on me not a big electrical surge just stopped workin maybe it was the lack of heatspreaders and them overheatin that caused this who knows!! as it has been a few years since i used generic stuff now!

Im looking at a ddr3 upgrade because in a few months im getting a phenom x4 945 and i know my motherboard will support it with a bios upgrade but soon ive heard they are slowing down production on ddr2 ram and the prices are rising so im looking for 4gb of cheap ddr3 and a cheap amd ddr3 mobo but i want them to be decent.

Any ideas.
