Watercooled 5870

Yo guys,

Just wondering if anyone had Watercooled a 5870 and which block they used?

Was looking at the EK block....

Is it me or are all these blocks essentially the same, but with different mounting hole positions + £60 ?

Seems an awfull lot of cash.

Yeah! Cool, i'll wait and take a look at that man! Whens it coming in?? Can I have it after please?? lol...

Yeah, Cheapest I can find is like £75, does hurt tbh...Esp if your running CF, probably cheaper to wait for the cards with decent coolers like the Vapor-X cards etc, I just cant contain myself for that long! lol

Cyberpower have some Powecolor LCS 5870s in their forums. They say it has a EK Nickel Block, it's about £70 more than the standard card so that's a good indication of the block's price.

5870 block

Is it integrated? In another word, it is used for cooling for gpu、 memory and power supply at the same time.

Swiftech, Aquacomputer, Watercool, Danger Den and Bitspower all have blocks readily available as well as EK, XSPC and Koolance. No reviews around yet though.
