USB to USB cables??
hey,is there a way to connect 2 pc's via USB2.0 in order to exchange files like apps or gams etc etc,looking on scan at the moment but not sure.

I've got a belkin lead that does that, I believe it only works with Xp/Vista/7.
They're quite expensive though, think it was about £20..
If you want one though, I would happily part with mine for a reasonable price

I agree with Ham  , just connect the two machines via an ethernet crossover cable, cheapest and fastest way of doing it

Easiest way to transfer files would be a usb memory stick, dont think usb to usb would work as it wouldnt see the pc at the other end as any kind of storage device. Am not 100% sure thou!!

Grab a extra nic if your mobos not got two integrated, use a crossover as Judderman said and enable ICS for the internet. To share files just put them in the same workgroup and then right click -> share  .

hmmm thanks for all your replys,altho yer a usb mem stick would be better just need to find a big enough one lol

would work out cheaper than a usb stick if you need like lots of gbs

Crossover cable all the way. By far the fastest, cheapest and safest option tbh
