DDR2 - more than 2gb sticks!

Why can't RAM manufacturers make 3 or 4gb sticks of DDR2??

I had 4 x 2GB sticks but my mobo doesn't like having 4 sticks in all at once (more-so logistally, not enough room), so I've had to drop back down to 4GB.

I just want an 8GB kit comprised of 2 x 4GB! Grrrr!

BTW: I realise I don't actually need one, but if I had one then I wouldn't even be thinking of upgrading to i7

Think they artificially keep the prices of these high as they're mainly installed in workstations. i.e. they're businesses - so charge them whatever.
