Yep, I got mine this morning from Dixons. I assume we're allowed to install and use it even though it's not been released yet?

You can probably install it, but it maybe won't activate till the 22nd.

Hmm, curiously - I wonder if they're shipping all their orders early to avoid the proposed strikes ?
I mean u order Windows 7 and get it early, whilst ur brother orders Aion (or whatever) and has to w8 ?
I would imagine it's Amazon endeavouring to send out all their orders early and perhaps not just Windows 7.

havent got mine from amazon yet
but my mate did from currys grr
anyway, before i purchase the student offer of windows 7, i still dont know how it will work, sounds like an upgrade to me but ill have to wait till next week
